Moon Musings - March

For a seed to achieve its greatest expression, it must come completely undone. The shell cracks, its insides come out, and everything changes. To someone who doesn’t understand growth, it would look like complete destruction.
— Cynthia Occelli

On March 10th, we  “Spring Forward,” and we either welcome the time change or rail against it. And while opinions vary about how, or even if, we will embrace this shift in our daily routines, the fact remains that we have little choice in the matter. The time will, in fact, change. This concept of the inevitability of change has us thinking about being propelled forward in our individual and collective life journeys.

Here at Moon Over Water Gallery, we believe that our souls are on a journey that we endeavor to understand and embrace, even when we know that many aspects may seem to be fully beyond our control. Spring is coming, and with it comes still more change. What if we embraced all of the transformations and changes that necessarily come along with being propelled along our journeys?

This concept is evidenced every single day at our cozy seaside gallery.  Our artists are on an intensely creative journey, and their artwork connects them with that process.  When you buy or collect, you are connected to that journey, too.  It’s such a human connection.

Come see us, and you’ll know exactly what we mean. You are welcome here.
