Deep Seeded Soul

As an artist, I rely heavily on feeling and intuition. I am a spiritual being and believe in the guidance of nature and my higher self to execute my artistry. The more I create, the more insight to the world I gain. The more of my true self I discover. I start from a place deep within me, and if not, use play to find that place. I gallivant around the world to find treasures for my assemblages. I play with my paints to bring life to my watercolor paper. I sit still outdoors to gather inspirations for my pencil. I play with pastels to bring personality faces we depend on for so much happiness. I love the simplicity of playing with scissors and glue to see collage evolve.

I have realized over the years that Mother Nature is my greatest teacher and I often turn to her for answers to my existential questions and to remind me of true beauty and harmony. My work exhibits this and you can feel that I start each piece with intention. I am mapping out myself as an artist and, as a human, with each new piece I create. This journey has been the greatest gift I have ever given myself. I am elated at the possibility of sharing this growth with others.
