Interested in silversmithing but don’t know where to start? Join MOW artist and co-owner Danya de Leon for a one-day comprehensive workshop for hand-fabricating jewelry. Learn what you’ll need, where to get it, and how to set up your studio. Participants will learn critical design elements in understanding metal gauge selection and the cohesiveness of projects. Students will pierce and saw metal, basic texturing, forming, filing and sanding with hand tools, and safely using a torch. Finally, your piece will be finished with hand-made ear wires and other techniques to make your jewelry pop!
No previous experience needed, and all supplies provided. Must register in advance, space is limited.
