Moon Musings - November

Be present in all things and grateful for all things
— Maya Angelou

You may notice there wasn’t a MOW Tidings post in October, that’s because October was QUITE the month! It was our one-year anniversary and what a year it’s been.

It is difficult for us to articulate what our anniversary celebration meant to us.  It’s multifaceted, but it is also very simple.  Moon Over Water Gallery began as a concept and a dream.  But it was a dream that we felt, somewhere deep in our souls, that we were compelled to try.  So, we held hands, and we jumped in, relying on each other and, with the unwavering support of our husbands, worked to manifest that dream into a vision and then into reality..On the day of our celebration, we just took a moment to inhale deeply and feel the moment.

We were determined to be present in that moment.

Gratitude walks with us daily because Rockport has embraced our charming seaside gallery. We are so thankful for you, for each of our visitors, patrons, and artists; the list goes on and on.

We are determined to walk in gratitude each day.

Art is so healing, and it is so essential that providing a place where this art can live and be acquired by veteran and beginning collectors alike, feels like a cherished privilege.

If we distill it, it comes down to this:

Thank you.  We are so grateful.

We Were Featured in The Bend!

We were thrilled with the beautiful and touching article written by Luis Arjona and  the gorgeous photos by Lillian Reitz.

Please go check out the October issue online or in print.  Here is a favorite passage, although the entire article had us immersed in warmth and gratitude!

Reaching a year in existence, Moon Over Water Gallery is where creativity converges with camaraderie. It’s where paintbrushes become wands and every stroke is a spell cast to transport visitors into the artist’s realm. And as the moon casts its shimmering glow over the water, this gallery casts a luminous glow over the Rockport art scene. It’s a slice of creative heaven that welcomes everyone to come explore and become a part of the magic.
