I have always had a lifelong interest in art, but definitely a fascination/obsession with pottery and it’s processes. 

It took a pandemic to slow down my life enough to make my dream of learning pottery a reality. I got my hands muddy and I was hooked! It was everything I hoped it would be. I am a potter in progress and am a firm believer in soaking up as much knowledge as possible from others and to continue to better myself as an artist. 

I do a mix of wheel throwing and hand building, primarily with speckled/textured clay and reclaimed clay. I love using matte glazes, textured glazes, or doing brushwork that allows the glaze to give impressions of nature while allowing the viewer to see what their mind sees. 

I am continually inspired by the natural world around me and the endless sensory stimuli it offers!
