“The full story of the pieces I create lies in the life of its maker, its wearer, the one who admires it and the one who takes it home. In my pieces are stories, inspiration, energy, hope, and love. They may last a lifetime or many lifetimes. I’m honored by all the admirers and the wearers” - Lori Fisher

South Texas Native, retired community banker of 35 years in the North Texas region. Started silversmithing in 2020 after taking a few local silversmithing courses, I was all in afterwords. I’ve always had an appreciation for art and creating. I have had experience with ceramics, painting, and stained glass. After realizing that metalwork was my true passion, my husband encouraged me to follow my dream to continue my metalsmith education in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico with a Silversmith Master that taught at the San Miguel Art Institute. Silversmithing has a plethora of techniques which I continue to expand my knowledge in. I enjoy working with silver, brass, and copper. I look forward to expanding my knowledge in working with a softer metal such as gold. I am currently learning a repousse stamping technique using hand forged steel metal stamps made by other artists in my circle. I pride myself in making one of a kind heirloom pieces.
