My art work comes from that other world around each of us, natures sixth sense.  I work with fibers, paper and found wood, weaving, painting with paper, blending and weaving each piece into my expression of the beauty and magic of this planet. Collage and weaving whether on loom, by hand or with paper, brings a spiritual balance of life energy into my art: Infusing a flow of this life force through the work is an intrinsic part of each of my creations. I find joy in the movement of the work, a slow rhythmic dance of fiber, paper and energy expressed through multiple textures and colors. Collaging, Weaving and creating my body of work has always been a meditative journey for me. Over the past 35 years, this process continues to ground me to the Earth and the life force that flows through each fiber of my being.  Each piece of my art is not just Art of the mind but of the heart and of my hands. It is a process I love. It is something I must do to maintain balance in my life, to express my love of this universal space around me. Bringing viewers to have new thoughts and perhaps unexplored territories of what art and natures energy can bring to their world is my challenge.
